Los Angeles, CA, January 6, 2010 - Aptium Oncology GI Cancer Consortium (AGICC) is hosting a meet-and-mingle for research sponsors and investigators at the Marriott Orlando World Center Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on Friday, January 22, 2010. The event coincides with the 2010 Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium (GI ASCO) sponsored by ASCO, ASTRO and SSO, being held at the same venue.
AGICC is a consortium of world-class investigators and institutions committed to advancing clinical and translational research in gastrointestinal malignancies. Launched in 2008, the consortium currently includes a team of investigators from ten premier cancer institutions with robust GI cancer research programs.
Hosted by the AGICC leadership team, the event provides a forum for research sponsors to meet renowned investigators and discuss potential collaborations for GI cancer drug development.
