How the Model Works
Medical Oncology

Every center offers full service outpatient exam and treatment areas and some offer extended hours that reduce the number of emergency room visits for cancer patients. Dedicated, onsite oncology pharmacies provide rapid turnaround times, as well as greater expertise and safety in the handling and preparation of complex cancer drugs. In addition to treating major cancer types such as breast, lung, prostate and colorectal, many centers also run niche programs that help differentiate their hospitals in the community.

The cancer centers specialize in:

  • Stem cell transplants
  • Gynecologic oncology
  • Multiple Myeloma
  • Melanoma
  • Sarcoma
  • Alternative and complementary medicine programs
